About Me
Growing up in the north woods of Wisconsin I developed an appreciation for every aspect of nature, from the flora to the fauna. I live in Indiana now but have found a home where I am still able to be very close to wild life and amazing displays of flowers in the spring. Photography is my hobby but one that I strive to improve upon every day.
No matter the season I'm always in awe of nature's display of beauty.
Over the years I developed a hobby of watching and identifying different birds. I have a variety of bird feeders around the house and regularly attract at least 20 species of birds. The addition of bird houses that I have around the house gives me the opportunity to observe the babies from egg to first flight.
In addition to the birds we also have a variety of wildlife that make their homes in or pass through our yard. I never get tired of watching the squirrels, deer, raccoons and occasional fox or groundhog.

This photo was a Finalist (top 6) in the Indy Parks & Recreation annual photo contest for the Eagle Creek Park Pass. It placed 3rd in the public voting.
This photo won the October 2023 Eagle Creek Park Foundation photo contest for Best Fall Photo.
